Technology that reduces energy consumption and climate impact
At SLS, energy efficiency and environmental consideration are a natural part of every project.
By developing systems with natural refrigerants and high efficiency, we create solutions that reduce both energy consumption high climate impact over the entire lifespan of the facility.
Environment
Natural refrigerants
SLS works exclusively with natural refrigerants such as:
• Ammonia (NH₃)
• Carbon dioxide (CO₂)
• Propane (R290)
These refrigerants have a very low climate impact and are free from PFAS and ozone-depleting substances.
As a manufacturer, we see it as our responsibility to choose refrigerants with the least possible impact on the climate.

Energy efficiency
Our systems are developed for high efficiency and optimal energy use.
Example:
A 400 kW cooling unit using ammonia can save approximately
103,000 kWh per year compared to an equivalent unit using R404A.
This results in both:
• Lower climate impact
• Lower operating costs
